Unity is your favorite 3D engine? Are you looking forward to Unity 6 like we are? Do you work reliably with LTS releases, but also like to experiment with Tech Stream? Which features and concepts in Unity do you find exciting? We look forward to talking technical talk with you.
At MaibornWolff, with around 950 people, we stand for varied IT projects and modern individual software development. As a Software Engineer XR, you will develop together with around 15 specialized colleagues who master the entire 3D production pipeline at our company. We believe that 3D systems should not only look good, but also have a stable foundation thanks to a well thought-out software architecture. Both in Unity and Unreal.
Our projects? For example, we are working together with BMW on the virtual vehicle concept. And we are working on other exciting 3D applications. Either for our customers or internal show cases.
Your Role
- You develop interactive real-time 3D applications.
- You integrate modern XR hardware, such as Meta Quest, Varjo XR-3 or, in future, Apple Vision Pro.
- You ensure clean code quality.
- You pay attention to robust software architectures that are performant, scalable and clear.
Your Profile
- You have a degree in computer science.
- You have sound development experience with C# and the Unity engine.
- You have experience with software architecture, clean code and testing, CI/CD pipelines.
- Ideally, you have experience in the integration of XR hardware.
- You are also open to Unreal as a second 3D engine if required.
- You communicate fluently in English.

We do not have core working hours. You decide when you start and when you finish. The only condition: The cooperation with customers and in the team must work.

You decide how many hours you want to work. We are flexible. You can also adjust your working hours on a monthly basis.
