Our Story

The Story of MaibornWolff

Arrived to stay

First the people.
Then the technology

In 1989, students Holger Wolff, Volker Maiborn and two other fellow students founded MaibornWolff. Their vision: to create a company that offers the technology of tomorrow today, while always putting people first. With this goal in mind, MaibornWolff has been an established player in the German IT market for over 30 years. And our success proves us right: we grow by around 25 percent every year and are constantly expanding our range of services. At the same time, we maintain our culture and values – without compromise.

Development of Green IT

We only have the one planet. We in the IT industry in particular must do our part to ensure that software and digitalization become sustainable. MaibornWolff therefore researches, supports and invests in the development of Green Tech.

Ecological footprint

Since 2011, we have exclusively purchased green electricity in Germany and since 2018, we have offset our entire CO2 emissions every year. We also offer job bikes and provide charging points for EVs at almost all locations where we have our own parking spaces.
