MaibornWolff hits AI milestone

Five years of work. Lots of ideas. And above all: a great deal of conviction. Today, we are proud to say that artificial intelligence has become a reality for half of our active customers.

For us, this is more than just a number. It is a real milestone. Whether in software engineering or specific AI solutions, artificial intelligence is no longer an add-on, a gimmick, or hype. It works! In projects, in code, in products, in everyday life. And it brings real added value for our customers and our team.

60 active AI projects

In the first quarter of 2025 , we have taken decisive action a7>heads and prioritized projects in in which we use AI in a very targeted manner for our customers. And we were ourselves And we were surprised ourselves at how quickly the rollout took off . Currently, we are using "AI-based Software Engineering" – in digital design, coding, testing, modernization or in operation. In another 30 customer projects we are building AI-solutions such as chatbots, prediction platforms, and "chat with your data" applications.

In total this means that: In 60 of 120 active customer projects AI plays a central role. For five years we have been working on this thick board – now the drill is showing. For us this means that: The most challenging part is behind us. The structures are in place, the trust is there, the benefits are visible – and the path for further AI use is open.

The superpower of AI is now having an impact on our daily work—and at an incredible speed. Our customers see the benefits and are embracing it.

From AI vision to everyday work

Back in 2019, we at MaibornWolff began set the course towards AI in 2019. At that time, the topic was still uncharted territory for many. But we were convinced: AI will fundamentally change our work . That's why we started early to build data platforms to build AI -competence internally , experimenting with the first AI models to build.

At the latest with the "GPT-moment" two years ago it became clear: this topic is going to be big. And quickly. We have implemented our "AI switch" – internally, consistently. For us, this meant : clear AI guidelines, the right toolchain, our own AI Trusted Zone for secure use, and a commitment to bring AI to all of our customer projects . This gave rise to our "AI4Projects" initiative – today the heart of our AI strategy implementation.

And we are convinced: This is only the beginning. The next stage lies ahead of a93>us and we are looking forward to everything that lies ahead.
