South-shoring: cost benefits, smooth integration, one time zone

South-Shoring | MaibornWolff

Tunisia, Spain & Rwanda

We recognized the importance of geographical diversity and global cost advantages early on: We opened our first international office in Tunis back in 2018. Further locations in Spain followed in the next few years with Valencia and Alicante. In 2023, we founded our subsidiary Ojemba in Kigali, Rwanda. What makes it special? All our locations are in the same time zone.

Rwanda

MaibornWolff founded Ojemba to involve dedicated developers from Rwanda in international digitalization projects. However, Ojemba is much more than just a tech company. For many, it is a new career start with prospects and the opportunity to help shape challenging projects in an international team. At the same time, we promote the development of sustainable IT locally with a real impact for the region.

Rwanda: Our newest South Shoring location

Rwanda is young, digital, ambitious - and full of potential. Our vision: We create career prospects for Rwandan talent and at the same time support German companies in the implementation of forward-looking software projects.

We focus on quality and humanity: in our eight-month training programme, we not only teach technical excellence, but also professional skills such as communication, self-organization and teamwork. Because in our experience, this is at least as important as good coding.
