Are you an experienced DevOps engineer who loves clean code, complex IT architectures and agile working? DevOps is not just a job title for you, but a philosophy and everyday life? Cybersecurity is important to you, you want to take the next step and you want to help shape a new cybersecurity area with a successful IT medium-sized company? Then feel at home right now and take a moment to get to know MaibornWolff.

We stand for the development of modern IT solutions, by people for people and always keep "Secure by Design" in mind. For us, cybersecurity is a quality dimension that we look at holistically with you - on a technical, organisational and human level. True to the motto: secure software begins before the first line of code.

Whether on AWS, Azure or GCP - in your role as a DevSecOps Engineer, you are already a security expert. Or you can become one with the support we offer you. You help our customers to put their software on a secure, stable footing. In doing so, you always keep in mind that secure systems must also be usable. To do this, we build automated cloud environments that take our customers' systems into the future.

Your Role:

  • You make our platforms "secure by design": whether implementing security measures, automating security checks, setting up security monitoring or code reviews.
  • You develop cloud-native software and secure cloud architectures.
  • You pay special attention to securing the cloud infrastructures on which our projects are based.
  • You advise our customers competently on the sensible use of services in the cloud with regard to security, effort, costs and maintenance.
  • In doing so, you always keep an eye on the providers' native services.

Your Profile:

  • Ideally, you have completed a degree in computer science. However, technical courses of study such as mathematics or a specialist IT training are also welcome.
  • You have a technical understanding and bring your practical experience from the DevOps environment to our software projects.
  • Topics such as cloud architectures and IAM are part of your everyday life.
  • You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as AWS Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Ansible or Terraform.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with the security and governance services of the cloud providers Azure or AWS. This includes, for example, Security Center, Sentinel, Defender, Security Hub, Guard Duty and Config.
  • You have fluent English communication skills.

Your Benefits:

  • An excellent working atmosphere: for the twelfth time in a row, we have been recognised by "Germany's Best Employers" in 2021 here in Germany.
  • Modern central offices with very good equipment.
  • An annual training budget of 1.5 gross monthly salaries.
  • 40 hours work per week, a working time account and no overtime culture.
  • 30 days of paid vacation.
  • A private health insurance.
  • Flexible working hours, home office and sabbaticals.
  • Work equipment of your choice: from iPhone, MacBook, Surface Book or Dell notebook. Depending on taste and necessity. Also for private use.
  • Internal research & development projects.
  • Celebrate together: Oktoberfest, summer party, company seminar, divisional parties, project closing parties.
  • Annual donation budget that you can allocate freely.
